Jorma Hyrske is co-founder and chairman of the board of Ipsotek Oy, in Finland.
The company has started distributing IPSO in the late seventies and has worked with us ever since.

Ipsotek mainly focuses on the so-called “multihousing”-business, (central laundries in apartment buildings available to its inhabitants), but also works closely with the Finnish public sector. Business realized through commercial laundries & vended laundromats consists only of 10% of their yearly turnover.

Hyrske : “ We have a long history with IPSO and we feel our partnership is highly appreciated by the brand, although Finland is a relatively small market. Since we also produce cold ironers (a very popular product in Scandinavia), dehumidifiers and drying cabinet, this is the core of our business. But the best selling IPSO machines are still the IY65 (6,5kg capacity) and IY105 (10kg capacity) soft mount washers. The reputation of these machines has only become stronger since the aesthetical upgrade and the EVOLIS touch control platform.”

The past covid year(s), Ipsotek Oy was able to avoid a catastrophic situation. “Of course, we have faced all kind of restrictions due to covid, but the economical situation is still good. Our turnover in 2020 was exactly the same as in 2019”, Mr Hyrske says.
